I will OVERCOME

John 16:33 New International Version (NIV) 33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” His promise is that He and therefore us in Him shall OVERCOME and be VICTORIOUS. But what does overcoming look like? It's not a life free from illness, grief and loss. If life is perfect, there is nothing to overcome. The dictionary has some insight into what overcome means: succeed in dealing with (a problem or difficulty).
